Postcard in Autumn

I was feeling low today A bit out of place My fur not so warm Should I hibernate before winter? But then love from distant lands arrive Sealed and stamped Oh! I'm still loved and Winter can wait!

Spread Out

My invisible feathers will take flight Across the mountains and oceans In to the sun and the stars.

Last Flowers of Spring

Soon these flowers shall wilt and die Do I pick them now to adorn the vase on my table Or do I let time breathe away their life In to the vastness of this world

Persistence of a Dream

She drank the perspiration of an unwelcome dream Life stirred in the graves in her bosom of the man who left and whose fragrance lurked in what he left behind.

Some depths are so seductive that you want to drown in them and die.
